Dr. Clint M. Wolk, O.D.
Dr. Wolk is a life-long resident of Ste. Genevieve. He graduated salutatorian in 2000 from Ste. Genevieve High School where he was also captain of the football and wrestling teams.
Dr. Wolk graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri- St.Louis with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology in 2004. He was accepted into the University of Missouri- St. Louis College of Optometry that same year. As a fourth year student, Dr. Wolk completed an ocular disease externship at Southwest Medical Center, a vision therapy externship at UMSL, a community services externship at various free clinics around the St. Louis area, and even a military externship at the Kaneohe Bay Marine Corps Base on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.
In 2008, Dr. Wolk graduated from the UMSL College of Optometry.He was the recipient of the Paragon Vision Sciences Award for Outstanding Clinical Skills in Contact Lenses.
Dr. Wolk began working with Ste. Genevieve Vision Care in July 2008. He lives in New Offenburg with his wife Mackenzie, daughters Aila and Stevie, and son Nolan.
Dr. Courtney R. Kwan, O.D.
Dr. Kwan has always called Ste. Genevieve home and was excited to return here to practice. She graduated from Ste. Genevieve High School as salutatorian in 2006.
Dr. Kwan went on to the University of Missouri-Columbia where she graduated summa cum laude in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. While in college she was an active participant in and president of the pre-optometry club. Additionally, she worked as an optometric assistant where she learned to love the field.
Dr. Kwan was accepted into the University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry in 2010. While in optometry school, she completed rotations and training in ocular disease at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital, contacts lenses at UMSL Eye Center, pediatric care and vision therapy at UMSL Eye Center, and primary care optometry at various free St. Louis Clinics and the Scott Air Force Base
Dr. Kwan graduated from optometry school in 2014 where she was the recipient of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development Award for Excellence in Vision Therapy and the Gas Permeable Lens Institute Award for Clinical Excellence in contact lenses. Dr. Kwan is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Missouri Optometric Association. She is also a participant in the AOA Infantsee program and provides eye examinations for children and infants as young as six months old..
Dr. Kwan joined the practice in July 2014 and currently lives in Ste. Genevieve with her husband Philip and sons Kanaan, Alek, Roman, and Pierce.
Dr. Kaitlyn E. Lukefahr, O.D.
Dr. Lukefahr is a Ste. Genevieve native and happy to have returned home to practice optometry. She is a 2010 graduate of Valle Catholic High School were she was a member of the Volleyball team, Track & Field team, and the National Honor Society.
In 2014, Dr. Lukefahr graduated cum laude from Saint Louis University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Health Sciences. During her time at SLU, she was an active member and even served time as president of the pre-optometry club.
Dr. Lukefahr was accepted into the University of Missouri-Saint Louis College of Optometry in 2014. She completed rotations in ocular disease at Galanis Cataract & Laser Eye Center, vision therapy and pediatrics at the University Eye Clinic, and primary care at Saint Louis University Eye Institute, Ste. Genevieve Vision Care, and various free Saint Louis clinics. She also had the opportunity to be a part of a mission trip to Haiti were she and her team were able to provide care to over 1,300 Haitians over five days.
Dr. Lukefahr graduated from the University of Missouri Saint Louis College of Optometry in 2018 were she was the recipient of the Award of Excellence in Low Vision.
Dr. Lukefahr and her husband Luke live in Ste. Genevieve with their son Henry and daughter Caroline. She joined the practice in 2018.
